ESN-Rotterdam has three core committees that help the board with creating activities to make the experience of international students in Rotterdam even better.
Holland Committee
Being a part of the Holland committee, you are responsible for organizing the infamous ESN city-and weekendtrips. Basically, all activities that take place outside Rotterdam would be the tasks of the Holland Committee. Likewise, organizing a day to Volendam or a weekend to Antwerpen would be your task. The ESN-trips has been a success since ESN has started, and are greatly participated by short term exchange students. It has been one of ESN’s fundamentals, and evidently our core competence. We are seeking for five new members who have an assertive, creative and structured personality to meet the challenges and difficulties of each city trip!
International committee
As an international committee: your main responsibilities will be the activities that will take place in Rotterdam. That means, you will actively promote our weekly social drinks, organize international theme parties, the farewell dinner for all faculties, and realizing a career day specially for international students and organize the 3 days ESN-introduction weekend.
We are looking for creative minds that are capable of showing internationals new things that you can do- as a student- in Rotterdam!
Acquisition
As a member of the acquisition committee, you should be communicative and have a sales-driven attitude. Since ESN Rotterdam is founded two years ago, there is much need to find new sponsors. It will be your job to contact new sponsors, sign contracts and maintain current relationships. So do you think you have ‘the talk’ to convince companies to support us? Are you performance-oriented and do you already have the experience of selling products or services? Then the acquisition committee is the right thing for you!
For the application: send you motivation letter and CV to info@esn-rotterdam.nl by the 30th of April.
For any questions about the committee or application, you can either send us an email or just stop by the ESN-office: N1-13.
